Nfu Oh #51 over First Mate

Hello, Everyone!  This is somewhat of a continuation of my last post.  I have China Glaze First Mate on both my hands, but I layered different Nfu Oh polishes on each hand.  As you know, I used #52 on my right hand, as shown here, but I used #51 on my left hand.
I only ever use my right hand as the model for my pictures.  So the pictures in this post might seem awkward because my left hand isn't used to being a star.  It's shy.  But regardless, behold:

I used 2 coats of First Mate with 1 coat of Nfu Oh #51 layered on top in ALL photos.

This is in "sunlight" (there wasn't much sun)
It's a rainbow on my nails!

Every color is represented!  No discrimination! ;D

These pictures were taken inside, under a lamp.

It has a green duochrome?! :D

Which combination did you like better?
Left: #51   Right:#52

The above is a really bad picture of #51 but you've seen enough good pictures to get the point. :D  I don't know which I like better.  Both are so unique.  I guess it depends on what mood I'm in.

Nfu Oh #52 over First Mate

Hello, Everyone!  As promised from yesterday's post, here are the pictures of Nfu Oh #52 layered over China Glaze First Mate.  I used only one coat of First Mate.  It's that awesome.  I love it.  Here's First Mate by itself, no top coat.

Here's ONE coat of Nfu Oh #52 over First Mate

 One coat

TWO coats

Two coats

Two coats

Two coats

So... it's gorgeous.  What else is there to say?  There were no problems with anything.  So, I think my post ends now...?

Have a great day!  It's pouring where I live.

Nfu Oh Nail Polish!

Hello, Everyone!  I recently ordered some Nfu Oh nail polish and *sigh* I can't... I just... I'm glad something this perfect exists.

Left to right: #51, #52, #56

#51

#52

#56

So... I got them at fabuloustreet.com, which had supremely fast and FREE shipping for US residents.  So I was obviously thrilled with that. :D

I'm wearing #52 over China Glaze's First Mate (a navy creme).  There will be pictures tomorrow.

Silver Shatter over White + Strange Creature~

Hello, Everyone!  I thought I was over the whole "Shatter" business.  I liked the Black Shatter, but then I got over it.  But then I went to Trade Secret and there were so many bottles of Silver Shatter... how does one say no?  So I got a bottle.  And I'm in love~

I used one coat of OPI Silver Shatter on top of Zoya Snow White, which is a simple white creme.  But I looooooove the combination of white and silver!

I highly recommend you get the Silver Shatter.  Now.

And also, Hello, strange creature, that was outside of my house this morning.

It was just chillin'.

What's THAT in my mail? Oh, It's Just Clarins 230.

I've been waiting for days.  Anxiously awaiting the beloved Clarins 230.  The estimated shipping date was June 21-June 22.  So when it hadn't come on the 21st, I was nervous... thinking, if it doesn't come tomorrow, what if it never comes... blah blah blah.  It was me being paranoid. Obviously.

And NO ONE cares about what I'm saying right now.  The good people want to see PICTURES!  And trust me, I took about a hundred.  But I handpicked the better ones.  Enjoy.

No swatches yet, just pictures of the bottle.
DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, and click the photos to enlarge them.

These photos were taken next to a window with sun.

These pictures were taken indoors, under a desk lamp.
...um... it looks like a %&@#$! cosmos or galaxy or whatever you wish to call it.

Now all that's left is to swatch it!  I've seen people use purple and blue as a base color underneath 230 so I think I'll try that first.  Any suggestions are welcome.

OPI: Stranger Tides

Hello, Everyone!  Today's color is Stranger Tides, which is from my current favorite OPI collection: the Pirates of the Caribbean!  There's not one color I don't like in that collection.

Anyway!  Stranger Tides is a green-gray creme that reminds me of a really light version of Essie's Sew Psyched.  Also, when I wore ST, I was reminded of the color of sand.  You can be the judge.

  • Coats:  2 coats for smooth coverage with no visible nail line.
  • Finish:  Creme
  • Where:  ULTA, Trade Secret
  • Wear:  I wore it for 3 days and it didn't look like it was going to chip any time soon.
  • Cost:  $8.50 (the standard amount)
  • Staining: No stains!
  • Application:  No problems.
  • Dry time:  Normal
  • Removal:  Supremely easy, just like all the other colors of the same collection.

The pictures are color accurate! :)

I used the "X-Large" photos even thought I always used the "Large" sized photos.  "Large" just seems too small, but "X-Large" seems overwhelming.  So I don't know what to do...

I recommend Stranger Tides because it's a pretty neutral color that's calming and pleasant, and it has that amazing murkiness that the entire Pirates collection has.

Charla! Ivanka! Charla! Ivanka!

As many of you know, Zoya just recently had a promo which featured one free bottle of Charla and one free bottle of Ivanka with any purchase.  And of course, I took part in this promo.  Along with the free Charla and Ivanka, I got Pippa and Snow White.  But that's for another post.  This post is ALL about Miss Charla and Miss Ivanka.

So who won this battle?  The tropical blue Charla or the mermaid green Ivanka (which may or may not be named after Doanld Trump's daughter)?

I made the pictures extra big so you all can see the sparkle!

Clarins 230 COMING SOON!

The ever elusive Clarins 230... Do I need to explain?  The only way to get this Holy Grail of nail polish is via Ebay.  And I caved in.  In a matter of days I will be the owner of a bottle of Clarins 230.

To say say I'm excited would be an understatement considering how I jumped up and down and squealed after clicking the "Commit to Buy" button.

Obviously there will be swatches soon.

Pink + Konad Bow~

Hello, Everyone!  Today's post is just an addition to yesterday's post.  I was already wearing OPI's Sparrow Me the Drama and I decided to add a little konad to it.  A cute white bow on my fourth finger seemed like a nice touch. :)

  • Seche Vite Base Coat
  • OPI: Sparrow Me the Drama
  • Konad Special Nail Polish: White
  • Konad Image Plate: m59
  • Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat

That's all for today.  Is it hot wear you are in the world?  It was 98ยบ (F) today.  SO HOT.  TOO HOT if you ask me.

Have a nice day~
