Blue Holo, With Black and White Cloud

Hello, Everyone!  Today's design is from nailside and here is her tutorial post for this simple, but fun design.  After seeing her post, I knew I had to try it.  So I did. :P

I was already wearing Glitter Gal's Blue 3D/Holo.  So then I just added white and black. :)

Products used:

  • Seche Vite Base Coat
  • Glitter Gal Blue 3D/Holo
  • Zoya Snow White
  • China Glaze Liquid Leather
  • Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat

So now I really want to use a bunch of different color combinations.

This week was a good week for me! Much better than last week.  That was a bad week.  I have two classes left today, and then it's the weekend!~

Blue Holo Beautifulness! Glitter GAL!

Hello, Everyone!  This is no official review because I'm not in the mood to be formal.  But I'm wearing an amazing nail polish color today and I need to share it with the world!  Holographic nail polish FTW.

It's just.. it's just... so amazing.  I could rave about this forever.  It's so cool!  Really futuristic looking!  I got it online at Llarowe.  She sells a bunch of out-of-country nail polishes.  Check it out!

Zoya: Yasmeen + some Clarins 230

Hello, Everyone!  Today's color is Zoya's Yasmeen. I might as well just get it out that this is my all-time favorite color that I own.

And also, I don't know if people know this, but it looks A LOT like Clarins 230, but without the multi-chrome, changing colors.  I own Clarins 230, so I can say this on good account.  Yasmeen  looks like Clarins 230 layered over purple.  Both colors have a purple base but with internal pink shimmer that glows within.  It is beautiful!  And I have a comparison photo at the bottom of the post. :)

  • Coats: 2 easy, beautiful, amazing coats
  • Finish:  Purple base with internal pink shimmer
  • Where:  Zoya.com
  • Wear:  5 DAYS, no chips yet.
  • Cost:  $8.00.
  • Staining:  No stains!
  • Application:  Easy!
  • Dry time: Pretty fast.
  • Removal:  Easy to remove!
*This color is perfect and I have absolutely no complaints. :D

Clarins 230 (left) and Yasmeen (right)

They're similar, right?  Or am I crazy?  Well, I think they look similar.  Maybe it's my love for Yasmeen and refusal to say anything bad about it that prevents me from seeing the truth?

One more picture?  One more picture.

Moral of the story:
I love Yasmeen.  And so should you.

Orange Shimmer + Silver Glitter Gradient! (Feat. The Mod Girl)

Hello, Everyone!  Lindsay here.  Today's post featured the nails of my very own sister, The Mod Girl.  I did her nails for New Year's Eve, so of course glitter is involved.  And what's more fun than a glitter gradient? Nothing.  That's what.

Excuse the poor quality pictures.  There was no sun!

    Products Used:

    • Seche Vite Base Coat
    • OPI Rising Star
    • L.A. Colors Ice Breaker
    • L.A. Colors Silver Glitter
    • Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat

I personally love glitter gradients.  Especially with different sized glitter.  I remember a time when I used to post almost everyday... haha.  Well, I'm going to try to start posting a lot more often this year.  Let's cross our fingers.

There is reason to celebrate!  I got 100 followers today!  I love you, all!  Virtual air kisses for everyone!

    New Year, Let's Do This.

Hello, Everyone!  I've been gone for 2 months!  And there's no excuse but school and sheer laziness!  But if I start blogging again, I'll get back into it!
That's the whole point of this post.  The rest of the text is just random nonsense of me attempting to make conversation on the inter-web.

In my absence, I've taken some pictures of my nails!

    China Glaze: Solar Power

    Zoya: Yasmeen

    China Glaze: For Audrey

    OPI DS: Original

I've acquired some old OPI DS polishes, and I love, love, love them.

I hope everyone had a nice holiday.  I got some nail polish for Christmas.  Just a smidge.  A smidgeon, if you will.  Did you get any?

What color did you wear for New Year's Eve?  I wore the very beautiful, never-failing, Secret Per-Wink-Le by China Glaze.
